I have worked for Ward & Partners for 13 years. I started with no sales experience at all in the position of a Trainee Sales Advisor and have since progressed through the company and held every job title within the company career progression ladder! I am now a Group Partner and responsible for the performance of 7 offices within Kent & East Sussex. The role is a varied one, including recruitment, developing and enhancing office results, ensuring our high company standards are met - however it still allows me to be very hands on and to work closely with each branch, which I am convinced is essential and differentiates us from our competitors.

What motivates me? – Well apart from the obvious material things, i.e., good package and car etc (which are very nice), I believe it is very important to work for a professional and respectable team. In an industry that gets a fair amount of criticism, it is good to work for a company which is run by people who have all done the job from the bottom up and which possess the same passion for the business as me. I am proud that we can achieve the levels of business that we do without either compromising our high standards or becoming complacent. People often comment that we are not "typical estate agents", I like that!

If you join our company with a real desire to succeed and a "can do" attitude then you can go a very long way. The combination of a superb training department and Senior Management that believe developing our staff and enabling them to fulfill their potential is a priority means that unlike most sales positions, you are not simply doing a job but building a career.
