I have worked for Arun Estates for over 10 years!

I have been most fortunate within the company and have developed my skills over the years with the help of the ever present mentoring of no other than Mr David Lench!

To begin with I did all the jobs no-one else wanted to do!! However, as the people and characters moved around at head office, my role became more involved and I began working far closer with DL himself. Now, as his secretary, he got me involved with other interesting projects together with the general running of the administration department.

Folllowing the birth of my son Jack and my maternity leave in 99/00, David talked to me about recruiting for the company. Personnel and HR had been a huge part of my previous career and working closely with people on a face to face basis again greatly appealed to me as a fantastic opportunity.

The recruitment team has now grown to 3 people to help with additional interviewing and the vast amount of administration that goes with receiving up to 550 CVs per week!! We work very much as a team and with regular focus meetings look at the priorities of our business and best practice for the company in relation to all recruitment issues.

Working for Arun Estates means hard work, dedication, with a huge work ethic that means that you will sometimes be working very long hours and feel exhausted at the end of the week!
