Are You a Born Salesperson? What about a career in Sales?

This our career path for residential sales

Sales Path

Here are just a few of the roles available.

Sales Advisor

The role of Sales Advisor is a key front-line position. You are the main focus of the company for meeting and greeting our clients and therefore you will need to enjoy working with people, have a bubbly personality and also an inner drive to reach the targets you will be set.

You will be involved in accompanying customers on viewings, generating appointments and business and be active within the office by calling clients and prospective clients.

You will need to take part in the morning meetings plus help with general administrative duties and administration. You will be organised, ambitious and determined to progress.

This is a great role to understand the business and industry and many people who have held this role have progressed far within the company.

Indeed, many of our top Managers and Directors started out as Sales Advisors!

Marketing Consultant

Getting properties on to the market is key to our business success, so your role will be to list as many properties as possible.

Plus promoting other ancillary services such as conveyancing and mortgages, whilst you also generate appointments for viewings and selling homes at the same time.

Our valuers have the best tools available to promote the services of our company and they are target driven and dedicated to getting the best possible price for our clients. A full driving license is essential for this role.

Branch Manager

Many of our Branch Managers have worked their way up through the company. This means that they have the respect and credibility of the people who are working around them.

They are responsible for managing the day to day running of the office and are in charge of maximising the income and profitability of their branch by the successful listing and selling of properties and ancillary products and services.

Customer service is paramount to this role plus the ability to manage and motivate branch members. You will also be involved in the training, development and welfare of your staff.

A full driving licence is essential.

Lettings Manager

Letting properties is an important part of our overall business. It is the responsibility of our Lettings managers to develop and maintain our portfolio of properties, maximise revenue streams and profitability and promoting a range of supporting products and services. You will need previous experience in a Lettings role plus a keen eye in order to carry out valuations to get the best possible rental price for our clients. Once again you will need a full driver's licence in order to apply for this role.

And for something a little different if the Lettings business interests you why not consider a role as a

Property Inspector

Again you must be able to drive and will visit properties to check tenants in and out, audit properties in order that they meet all health and safety and other standards and be able to prepare reports for the Lettings team.

Whatever role you decide on, the prospects with Ward & Partners are endless and your ability to climb the career ladder will very much rely on your dedication, hard work and pride in doing a job well done.

Our culture is to develop people throughout their careers and many of our staff have enjoyed long and fulfilling careers with us and continue to do so.
