"I started my career straight from school in 1982, working for a small independent company. It wasn't long before I really appreciated just how rewarding it is to help someone find that special home and a sense of pride in doing a great job!

I considered myself very fortunate to join Wards back in 1985. It proved to be the best career decision I made and I soon became part of a very successful team, learning from the best in the business.

It is great to work with an enthusiastic team which still includes the one and only Anne, who has been a mainstay of the office, with more than two decades of service and probably now the longest-serving estate agent in town!

The whole team is also proud to be serving the wider community through many fundraising activities and charitable causes that we support with an expectation of making a real difference to many people's lives.

I still pinch myself when I consider my 29 years of management; so many people whose lives we have helped, all of which has been made possible by the generosity, support and development of a company that always goes the extra mile for its customers and staff."
