I’ve lived here for 30 very happy years, and I think it was the convenience of the location that first appealed to us. Although we are sufficiently close to the centre of the village to be able to walk there for shopping, or for a quick lunch in one of the restaurants, this house, being set back from the road, feels secluded and is always very quiet. The romance of the name appealed to us too, being derived apparently from the name of a Roman goddess.

The garden, which is full of sun in the summer, has been perfect for us growing as a family and at one time we had thought of adding a conservatory but never quite got round to it. Something for the next owners perhaps!
