It was all about the location when it came to buying this property. I really value my peace, quiet and privacy. Here you are surrounded by the beautiful Kent countryside with no noise or traffic. There are beautiful views everywhere you look, yet you are only a five minute drive from main roads so everything you may need is accessible.

It used to be a farm house and it sits on the plot of a Benedictine Monastery that I believe dates back to the 1100's. I also believe that some of the stones that were used date back to that time. It was a real project when I bought it 8 years ago and as well as extending it to create an extra bedroom, it has been carefully brought up to date yet still retains its features.

I have also constructed an oak frame barn which is used as a car port and adds extra storage but this could be improved and used as a guest annex or office space, which is of course subject to the correct approvals.
