My mum and dad lived here for 20 happy years. The location was perfect for them as just around the corner there is the village shop, coffee shop and the Castle Pub, which serves a great Sunday roast. They used to travel to Europe regularly so having Eurotunnel only a few miles away was a real bonus, and Sandling railway station made it very easy to get to London.

My mum and dad moved down from East London and one thing that made it every easy for them to settle in was how friendly the whole village was. They were welcomed with open arms by the local church and got involved with the choir.
