Eynsford dates back to the ninth century; today, you can still see many of its oldest structures, including its distinctive bridge and St Martin’s Church. The village is also home to Eynsford Castle, built by the family of the same name in the 1080s and one of the most complete structures from the Norman era that still stands in Britain today.
